Tributes paid to UK grassroots icon Paul Jackson

Tributes have poured in following the passing of Paul Jackson, founder of the Hull New Adelphi Club and leading figure of the UK grassroots venue landscape. He was 71 years old.
Following the news, the Music Venue Trust called Jackson “quite simply one of the finest grassroots music venue owners this country has ever known” for his work at the Adelphi, which led to it gaining legendary status amongst grassroots venues.
