Design the stages behind the world’s largest live productions.
At Megaforce, we engineer and build large-scale stage systems for international concert tours, stadium shows, festivals, and custom live productions worldwide. From Europe to Asia and Latin America, our stages are used by major artists, promoters, and productions across the global live entertainment industry.
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer / Stage Engineer with a passion for live entertainment, temporary structures, and large-scale event engineering. This is not a standard office engineering role. You will be involved from the first design concept to the final stage build on-site — working directly with international clients, production teams, authorities, and some of the most ambitious live productions in the industry.
Your Mission
You design and engineer custom-made stage structures for international live events, concert productions, stadium shows, and touring systems.
Working closely with our engineering team, project management, clients, production designers, lighting and audio vendors, LED suppliers, and local authorities, you help transform creative visions into safe, buildable, and world-class stage structures.
From early concept development to on-site realization, you are part of the complete process.
Your Responsibilities
- Structural engineering and static calculations for innovative stage systems and temporary event structures
- Development of new steel components and structural solutions for the continuous modernization of our stage systems
- Creation of verifiable structural calculations according to DIN EN 13814 and Eurocode 3 & 9
- FEM and structural analysis using software such as RSTAB and RFEM
- Preparation of overview, fabrication, and detailed technical drawings
- Technical coordination with clients, production teams, lighting companies, audio vendors, LED suppliers, and internal departments
- Communication with TÜV, authorities, building departments, and inspection bodies
- Accompanying projects on-site during construction and live event operations
- Supporting the realisation of custom-made stage concepts based on the Megaforce stage system portfolio
- Collaboration on international touring, festival, and stadium productions
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in structural engineering, ideally within temporary structures, stage engineering, event structures, steel construction, or special structures
- Strong understanding of live entertainment productions and temporary event infrastructure
- Excellent knowledge of structural analysis and FEM software (e.g. RSTAB, RFEM)
- Experience with Eurocodes and international structural standards
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Structured, precise, and highly responsible way of working
- Willingness to travel internationally to projects and events
- Fluent English skills required
- German language skills are highly appreciated
What We Offer
At Megaforce, engineering is directly connected to live production. You develop structures, discuss concepts with production teams, work alongside international crews, and see your projects being built on-site at festivals, stadiums, and touring productions around the world.
We offer:
- International live entertainment projects with real visibility
- Direct involvement in custom-made stage developments
- Flexible working structures and personal responsibility
- Technical depth combined with practical execution
- Global travel opportunities
- Competitive compensation and long-term growth opportunities
- A highly passionate and specialised team
- The opportunity to help shape the next generation of large-scale stage systems
