Legends Global-operated California amphitheatre ready to open

With a naming rights deal secured, the $21m FMB Amphitheater of Long Beach will open this week with a show from local superstar Snoop Dogg

Legends Global’s new $21 million (€18.3m) waterfront amphitheatre in California will be known as the FMB Amphitheater of Long Beach, following the naming rights acquisition by Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach.

With the multi-year agreement, F&M Bank will serve as the 11,000-capacity venue’s inaugural naming rights sponsor and official banking partner, with the alliance announced days from the Legends-operated space’s grand opening.

Long Beach native Snoop Dogg will headline the venue’s grand opening on Saturday (6 June), with surprise guests set to join for the unveiling of the city’s first-ever outdoor amphitheatre.
