UK campaigners have welcomed the filing of a parliamentary motion to debate UK-EU mobility for touring artists, as concern continues about the delay of an upcoming UK-EU summit due to disagreements over wider mobility measures.

The Liberal Democrats’ Al Pinkerton MP yesterday (9 June) filed an Early Day Motion which calls on the Government to “reduce administrative burdens” for UK artists touring in the EU with a host of long-discussed measures, including simplifying and reducing the cost of ATA carnets…
