Barcelona to support small venues with €1 million grant scheme

Barcelona will allocate €1 million to support sub-250 capacity venues in the city, with over 100 performance spaces set to benefit.

The funding marks the launch of the En Viu BCN program, a joint project from the city’s Night Office and the Barcelona Institute of Culture (ICUB), and will be allocated through the City Council.

Subsidy applications can be submitted from October according to the dates established by the call, with a maximum available of up to €8,000 per venue. Requirements…
