The UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has reportedly begun gathering evidence to lay the groundwork for a potential probe into the country’s live music industry, as industry sources tell IQ they expect a full investigation to follow.
This follows reporting by The Times that live sector figures have been contacted as part of the first steps to establish whether the regulator will follow MPs’ recommendations to investigate the sector.
