HYBE revenue doubles year-on-year in ‘all-time high’ quarter

The second quarter saw the entertainment giant behind BTS nearly triple its operating profit, citing the band's blockbuster Arirang tour as a major driver

HYBE has reported record revenues for the second quarter of this year, with turnover more than doubling year-on-year to €874 million (KRW 1.45 trillion) in what the company called an “all-time high” quarter.

This number propelled the entertainment giant to an operating profit of €103 million (KRW 170.9 billion) for the period, a nearly threefold jump quarter-on-quarter. The revenue figure for the quarter also amounts to a 105.5% year-on-year growth, up from a figure of KRW 705.6 billion in the same period last year.
