Two thirds of fans say AI and algorithms confuse event discovery, report finds

Two thirds of ticket purchasers (68%) say that the rise of algorithms and AI is making it “harder to know which event recommendations to trust”, according to a new report from ticketer Tixel.

The findings of the report, titled The Future of Ticketing – The Live Equation 2030, come as ticketing platforms increasingly look to integrate AI recommendation features for event discovery, personalised ticket options, and comprehensive packages around live events.
