Calvin Harris has earned a Guinness World Record after drawing an estimated 1.6 million fans to a free performance in Brazil, setting a new bar for the largest attendance for a DJ set by a single artist.
The Scottish artist set the record earlier this year after turning “the Brazilian city of São Paulo into one massive street party”, certifiers say, during the Bloko Scol pre-Carnival celebrations on 8 February 2026.
