As one of Asia’s most vibrant cities, Bangkok’s metropolitan 17m population includes more than 250,000 expats with strongholds of Japanese, Chinese, and Indian nationals, alongside large numbers of Westerners from Europe and the United States.

With the Thai government supporting plans to promote Bangkok as an entertainment hub, developments in the city are gathering pace, with live music in particular proving fertile ground for growth.
