South Korean regulators are investigating the country’s professional ticket resellers for tax evasion in a bid to crack down on years of allegedly unreported profits. According to Korea JoongAng Daily, touts are accused of “turning K-pop fandom into a multimillion-dollar black market”.
It reports that two companies allegedly generated KRW10 billion (€5.9 million) in unreported revenue after reselling at least 40,000 tickets over a six-year period. It is claimed that one reseller shifted concert tickets with a face value…
