Opening statements are expected tomorrow (3 March) once jury selection is complete, with the trial expected to last at least a month

Live Nation Entertainment’s antitrust trial in the United States has begun, with jury selection underway in a New York federal court. The trial is the fruition of a federal lawsuit filed in 2024, when the U.S.

Department of Justice (DOJ) and 40 state attorneys sued the entertainment giant with claims that the company had a monopoly on the concert promotion and ticketing industry, and engaged in anticompetitive behaviour across the industry.
