Ticketmaster’s new Uruguay business to be run from Chile
Javier Parra tells IQ the operation sits with the Chile team rather than a local structure, and that the company expects its role in the market to widen beyond ticketing

Following its expansion into Uruguay last month, Ticketmaster’s new operation in the country is to be run from Santiago, Chile, the company’s general manager for Chile has said.
Ticketmaster arrived in the country in August through the acquisition of RED UTS, with Javier parra set to lead the new operation under the job title of market leader for Chile and Uruguay. Parra says the company also sees its role there evolving beyond selling tickets.
