Córdoba: the rising star of Argentina’s touring route

Already a developing secondary market, now a new 12,000-cap arena proposal could solidify the city’s status as an unmissable Latam stop

Across Latin America, the touring ecosystem continues to move beyond capital-city centrality, and Argentina is no exception.

Córdoba, the country’s second most populous city, is consolidating its position as one of the most active secondary markets, with a new 12,000-capacity arena project now part of a broader wave of developments linking international capital, local promoters and mixed-use urban infrastructure in secondary cities.

Last month, promoter En Vivo Producciones announced it has plans for the new venue, Arena Córdoba, which it hopes will capitalise on a resurgence in popularity of 5,000-12,000-cap mid-sized arenas amongst international touring events.
