The jury in the Live Nation anti-trust trial has determined that the world’s biggest live entertainment company, and its subsidiary Ticketmaster, illegally maintained monopoly power in the US ticketing and concert market.
In a verdict that has the potential to reshape the live entertainment market in the US, the jury found that Live Nation has “illegally monopolised the ticketing market”, “illegally monopolised the concert ticketing market” and “illegally tied venues to concert promotion”.
