Huge legal accrual weighs down Live Nation Q1 results

Significant revenue growth and increased ticket sales offset by costs associated with the ongoing repercussions of the New York anti-trust trial

Despite a continued increases in revenue and tickets sold versus Q1 2025, legal fees saw Live Nation dip to a Q1 operating loss, as the ongoing federal antitrust case continues to rear its head for the industry giant.

The company reported a $371m loss for the period, due to accruing $451m in legal costs, as it sought to defend itself against the lawsuit alleging it operates as a monopoly.
