‘Viable and scalable’: Move Afrika on its growing multi-city circuit
The event expanded to Pretoria in 2026, which Global Citizen's Iphie Chuks-Adizue says can be a proof of concept for pan-African touring

This year’s expansion of the Move Afrika concert tour to Pretoria, South Africa, shows that multi-country touring across Africa is “both viable and scalable”, organiser and advocacy group Global Citizen has said, as the event added its third national market to its route for 2026.
Over the past three years, Move Afrika, led by Global Citizen and Kendrick Lamar’s pgLang, has expanded from Kigali, Rwanda into a multi-market programme spanning Lagos, Nigeria, and now Pretoria.
