Tenth UK concert space brought into community ownership by Music Venue Properties
MVP adds Brighton's Pipeline to its list of venues backed by community investors, citing benefits including "fair" rents and long-term security for operators

UK grassroots scheme Music Venue Properties (MVP) has brought its portfolio of community-owned independent venues to ten with the acquisition of The Pipeline in Brighton, saying the space is secured “for generations to come”.
The deal places The Pipeline into permanent community ownership, central pillar of MVP’s model. Comparing itself to “the National Trust for music venues,” MVP purchases the freeholds of grassroots venues and leases them back to operators. MVP is the property‑owning arm of the Music Venue Trust.
