The UK Artist Touring fund (UKAT) has announced a 140% increase in financial support to be made available for independent artists, as it prepares to open applications for its second round of grants this week (26 August).
The scheme is the work of the Featured Artist Coalition (FAC) and the LIVE Trust, and comes out of the fund collected from the voluntary £1 ticket levy in the UK applied to shows above 5,000-capacity. In the latest round, the LIVE Trust has contributed…
