El Salvador to build largest stadium in Central America

The 52,000-capacity stadium, expected to be complete in early 2027, will host football matches, concerts and other events

El Salvador has broken ground on a new 52,000-capacity stadium, set to be the largest in Central America. The US$100 million venue, developed by the Chinese government, will host El Salvador’s national football team along with other events, such as concerts by international artists.
