Radiohead smash The O2’s attendance record

The British band surpassed Metallica after drawing more than 22,200 fans per night to their four-date stint at the London arena

Radiohead have made history by breaking the record for the highest ever attendance within The O2. The seminal band pulled in 22,355 fans for the last date of their four-night residency, which was held in-the-round at the London venue, allowing for additional seating capacity.

Each of Radiohead’s four UK exclusive shows on 21, 22, 24 & 25 November saw more than 22,200 fans in attendance at The O2, with each night breaking the previous night’s record. The feat saw the group…
