Eventim customers to receive €20 vouchers following lawsuit
A long-standing lawsuit against Eventim in Germany for Covid cancellations has been settled, with compensation vouchers being offered

A class-action lawsuit has concluded in Germany with CTS Eventim being forced to offer 5,000 ticket buyers a voucher worth €20. The action commenced in 2022 in a dispute over refunds for shows being cancelled during Covid.
Represented by VZBV (the Federation of German Consumer Organisations), the customers stated they were only offered partial refunds for shows that had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, not full refunds.
In reaching this compensation settlement, the lawsuit against Eventim has been withdrawn.
