Live Nation scoops up Italy’s ForumNet Group

Live Nation has signed an agreement to acquire ForumNet Group, one of Italy’s biggest venue operators, from Bastogi S.p.A.

In the package, which the entertainment giant projects will close in April, Live Nation will acquire a number of ForumNet Group’s venues in Milan, most notably the 15,800-capacity Unipol Forum and the 1,700-capacity Teatro Repower, as well as management of the 12,000-capacity open-air Carroponte venue.

Financial terms of the deal were not made public.
