Stray Kids concert film takes $19m at global box office

The K-pop group’s cinema release of their global stadium tour outgunned the competition to land atop the international box office

Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience, a live concert film by the K-pop supergroup, claimed the top spot at the foreign box office, generating $19.1 million (€16m) globally in its opening weekend. Of the total earnings, $5.6m (€4.7m) came from the US alone.

The $13.5m it generated ex-US made it the most successful film internationally on its opening weekend, having hit screens in over 60 territories globally.

It outperformed Zootopia 2 with $16.8m (€14.1m) globally and The Housemaid with $16.5m (€13.9m). IMAX screenings…
