‘Classical is craved right now, in our saturated culture’
UK promoter Classical Unlocked tells IQ about its mission to make the genre more accessible to broader audiences

At this year’s SXSW in Austin, Texas superstar contemporary classical composer Eric Whitacre is showing his Deep Field: The Impossible Magnitude Of Our Universe film on 14 March.
Inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope, and featuring live narration by Whitacre, it will be presented by Classical Unlocked, the UK classical music promoter on a mission to make classical more accessible to broader audiences.
