Picking up the pieces from Bluesfest’s collapse, New Zealand promoter Trademark Live tells IQ how it jumped headfirst to rescue Sublime’s debut headline run in Australia, despite not having time to fully evaluate the risks.

The American ska legends, comprised of original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh and fronted by Jakob Nowell (son of the late Bradley Nowell), had hinged their five-city AU/NZ tour around the now-defunct Byron Bay Bluesfest, set for 2-5 April.
