NSW parliamentary inquiry mulls support for ‘fragile’ live sector

The New South Wales Parliament has launched the latest stage of an inquiry into the condition of the state’s live music industry, which saw industry figures highlighted obstacles around insurance, transport, and policing.

This comes in the wake of several music festival cancellations in the Australian state, the most high-profile of which was the Byron Bay Bluesfest, which was pulled by organisers at short notice in March.
