Düsseldorf’s Open Air Park draws 80,000 to System of a Down launch concert

The open-air site held its first concert after previous launches fell through, with operators D.Live saying it marks a "milestone" for the region

Düsseldorf’s Open Air Park marked its opening with a concert by System of a Down that drew around 80,000 people to the venue last weekend (10 July).

Operators D.Live said the new site serves as “a strong sign for the future of open-air large events in the state capital” of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
