Kentucky to create new Office of Music for state’s live sector

Kentucky governor Andy Beshear has announced plans for the state to open an Office of Music, which will introduce new tax rebates for venues and festivals, as well as establishing a state-wide live industry directory for sector professionals.

The industry directory aims to facilitate contact between festivals, venues, promoters, and artists, with industry professionals able to register to use.
