About Crosstown Concerts
Formed in 2016, Crosstown Concerts is an independent national promoter based in Bristol employing 22 staff and dozens of freelancers. We’ve staged over 4,000 concerts across the UK and now deliver around 700 shows a year.

We work from clubs to arena-level venues with scores of artists including luminaries such as Snow Patrol, Jamie Cullum, Paul Weller, Kano, Franz Ferdinand, The Vaccines, Death Cab for Cutie, Belle & Sebastian, Jack Savoretti, Sigur Ros, Agnes Obel, Kneecap, Razorlight, The Fratellis, First Aid Kit, and many many more. We also promote comedy, book tours and live podcasts.

Alongside our touring programme, we run two festivals: Bristol Sounds, our open air summer concert series on Bristol’s harbourside, and Ritual Union, our multi-venue day festival in Bristol. We also co-produce shows with partners including Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff. We’re a small, fast-moving team that cares about artists, fans and the venues we work in.

The role
We’re hiring a marketing campaign manager to work on our UK shows and tours. From on-sale announcements to the last ticket sold, your role is to help promote our shows. • Spot shows that are behind on sales early and act fast with a recovery plan
  • Build the Crosstown brand with fans, artists and the industry

Paid media and budgets

  • Oversee the marketing budgets across your shows, and keep spending on track
  • Run paid marketing campaigns across all media
  • Evaluate spends to ensure your marketing is efficient

  • Commission and sign off artwork, video and copy

Partners and reporting

  •  Keep artist agents and management updated with clear, regular marketing reports
  •  Maintain communication with promoters on marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with the Crosstown ticketing team to try to maximise sales

  • Have a track record of selling tickets for live music, festivals, venues or similar events, or a successful track record in selling
  • Have hands-on experience running paid campaigns and managing a budget

  • Be able to multitask and manage a large number of campaigns
  • Be a clear writer and confident communicator with agents, venues and promoters

Desirable

  • Experience at a promoter, venue, festival, label or artist management company
  • Knowledge of UK ticketing platforms and how their data and marketing tools work
  • Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, CapCut or similar)
  • Experience using CRM systems (we use Audience Republic but experience with other platforms is fine)
  • Contacts across the UK music industry and media
  • Have a real love of live music and a good ear for what fans respond to
