Solo Agency are seeking an organised, driven and experienced Agent Assistant to join our music agency in London. As an integral part of our team, you will provide essential support, working closely with a wide range of artists, managers, promoters, record labels and other industry professionals. This role requires someone who is passionate about live music, highly organised with a strong work ethic, and ready to take on challenges with a positive attitude.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and organise show offers, including venue availability and costing details
  • Draft and issue contracts and related documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support management with immigration-related tasks
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure show fee invoices are issued (with a strong emphasis on tax requirements), and ensuring shows are settled in a timely manner
  • Gather and review tour support submissions
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for agents
  • Maintain internal databases and keep all company systems updated
  • Assist with marketing duties, including managing artwork, compiling and explaining marketing plans, overseeing PR assets
  • Manage announcement schedules, ensuring accurate information, providing ticket links and age restrictions etc
  • Manage and compile guestlists for upcoming shows
  • Attend shows as required
  • Keep client information current, including release dates, label, management, and account details
  • Update artist pages on the agency website with the latest tour dates, biographies, photos, and maintain artist folders (riders, etc.)
  • Collect and send regular ticket sales figure updates to management

 

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of the music industry and the operations of a talent agency
  • Prior experience supporting an agent, ideally within the music department of a talent agency
  • Strong numeracy skills with keen attention to detail, alongside effective problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • High level of discretion, especially when handling confidential client matters
  • Strong aptitude for building and maintaining professional relationships
  • Proficient in using IT systems and software (specifically in Excel)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel for events as needed
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, capable of thriving under pressure
