I have always loved live experiences. I love what happens when people come together in the same place, at the same time, to feel something collectively. The shared anticipation. The memory held by everyone who was there, the kind of experience that can’t be replayed or recut, only lived in real time.
For a long time, television played that role. We gathered around it together. Then came the rise of the small screen and social media. Everything became portable, personal, and endlessly accessible. In many ways, that shift has been miraculous, but something else quietly slipped away.
