On the final Sunday of May, approximately halfway through a sold-out show at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, Diljit Dosanjh stopped to tell the crowd where he was going next.
“We are doing Wembley Stadium, London,” he said – joining, as he noted from the stage, a legacy of headliners running through Michael Jackson, Queen, and Prince. Within 48 hours of going on sale, the show was sold out.
Fifteen weeks later, on 12 September, he walked out at the 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium…
