Viola Beach killed after Where’s the Music? festival

The up-and-coming British band were driving home after playing the showcase event in Norrköping, Sweden

A British band have been killed on their way back from the Where’s the Music? conference/showcase festival in Sweden.

Viola Beach – nineteen-year-olds Kris Leonard (vocals and guitar) and River Reeves (guitar), 27-year-old Tomas Lowe (bass) and 24-year-old Jack Dakin (drums) – and their manager, 32-year-old Craig Tarry, were killed when their Nissan Qashqai hire car plunged 80 feet from a motorway bridge into a canal near Stockholm on Friday night (12 February).
