Insomniac, the US promoter behind dance music festival powerhouse Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), has closed a deal to acquire a 50% stake in Dutch rival Alda Events.
Majority Live Nation-owned Insomniac has produced more than 2,000 events since 1993, including EDCs in North America, Japan, China and Mexico and Nocturnal Wonderland, the US’s longest-running EDM event.
