Independent music venue owner Electric Group has unveiled plans for the £1.5 million redevelopment of its newest acquisition NX, the former O2 Academy Newcastle. Opening in October 2022, NX will be a “state-of-the-art 21st-century independent music venue”, to open in March 2022.
The company’s venue portfolio also includes Electric Brixton and SWX Bristol.
