Billboard's top 100 highest-grossing tours of 2025 suggest rock's stronghold is beginning to falter as new headliners come on stream

The next generation of global stars is diversifying the stadium-level touring circuit, as the demand for classic rock tours begins to falter, according to Billboard‘s top 100 tours of 2025.

For the first time in Billboard Boxscore‘s history, no classic rock acts landed in the top 10 highest-grossing tours of the year. Classic rock is defined as acts from the 1960s-80s, with the only rock acts in the top 10 being Coldplay and Imagine Dragons.
