Bulgaria’s Fest Team is expecting “significant growth” following recent financial and travel integrations with European neighbours, which could enhance the market’s place on the continental touring circuit.

On 1 January, Bulgaria formally adopted the euro as its national currency. Last year, the southeastern European country became a member of the 29-country Schengen Area, eliminating land, air, and sea borders as it joined the world’s largest visa-free zone.
