Multiple concerts and festivals disrupted in South Korea protests

Concerts and festivals have been forced into cancellations or venue changes as one of the country's biggest protests in years blockaded Seoul's Olympic Park

Protests in South Korea have led to the disruption of several live music events, including the relocation of the Seoul Park Music Festival and the cancellation of concerts by singer Park Seojin.

Following local elections on 3 June, protests began in response to a shortage of ballot papers, with South Korea’s parliament later announcing a full-scale investigation into the disruption of voting. One of the country’s largest widespread protests in recent years has been ongoing since.
