UK’s Splendour Festival to end with 2026 edition
The independent promoter DHP Family blamed reduced civic support for the decision but said its wider event portfolio was 'thriving'

The UK’s Splendour Festival has announced its 2026 edition will be its last, with organisers pointing to “significantly” diminished civic support and broader economic challenges in the sector as factors behind the decision.
Splendour has been a mainstay of the UK’s festival season for 18 years, and boasts a history of attracting top-class acts to its bill. It has been promoted by the Nottingham-based independent DHP Family.
