Bogotá’s Movistar Arena has named Gabriel Sánchez Olea as its new general manager, effective from this week, leading the latest round-up of industry appointments and moves.

Olea replaces Luis Guillermo Quintero, who departs after nine years in the job during which time the venue hosted more than 1,400 artists across over 700 events.

Olea, who also serves as chief strategy officer of operator and promoter BeatHub, has served on the arena’s board of directors since March 2025. BeatHub recently consolidated…
