IQ is saddened to learn about the sudden death of Dan Pike, the events and operations consultant for VMS Live.

A well-liked and respected figure in the UK live music business, Dan was formerly the general business manager of the HMV Forum, then owned by Mama Group, prior to which he had been a national tour promoter at The Mean Fiddler.

Since 2012, he specialised for VMS in the production of 3,000-5,000 capacity outdoor festivals and street parties and counted…
