For an event that was only supposed to take place once, Rock am Ring’s 40-year legacy is all the more impressive. Along with sister event Rock im Park, the twin festivals changed the landscape of live music in Germany and in turn, became a rite of passage for fans, artists, and executives alike.
Here, organisers PRK DreamHaus reflect on the festivals’ legacies and turn their attention to the future. Lisa Henderson reports.
