International audience growth drives Live Nation to $7.7 billion Q2 revenue
Executives also dismissed the notion of 'blue dot fever', saying consumers are spending at "record levels"

Live Nation has revealed that international markets drove 10% growth in its global audiences in Q2, as the company reported revenue of $7.7 billion for the quarter, up 9% year-on-year.
These numbers brought company-wide operating income to $522 million, a 7% rise, though executives said the timing of major tours and ongoing investment in the company’s expanding venue and festival portfolio meant that the adjusted operating income (AOI) figure showed only 2% growth.
