AC/DC Toronto show cancelled after ‘hundred year storm’ damages Rogers Stadium

The stadium is now facing substantial rebuilds as a last-minute bid to find a replacement venue for the concert was unsuccessful

AC/DC’s 16 September concert at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium has been cancelled due to extensive damage caused to the venue by a storm. Amid severe weather conditions which began last week, the stadium sustained damage which includes whole blocks of seating collapsing.

Toronto’s city government has now issued an Unsafe Building Order for the stadium, with the venue itself saying sections of the building will now need to be removed and rebuilt.
