PreZero Arena Gliwice has proven that even a large, multifunctional venue can become a model for sustainable operations and industrial waste management.
In March this year, it achieved the prestigious DIN SPEC 91436 Zero Waste certification at the Silver level, awarded by TÜV SÜD – becoming the first enterprise in the live sports and entertainment industry in Poland to receive this level specifically for industrial (non-municipal) waste streams. This certification is not merely a formal accolade – it represents the culmination of an ambitious, long-term vision to embed circular economy principles and minimise environmental impact across all operational layers.
