In 2022, Toffoli became the first artist to be formally named a United Nations ally for promoting the 17 sustainable development goals of their 2030 Agenda.

Having already taken steps to reduce the number of production trucks by relying on local suppliers; using electricity with Guarantees of Origin (GO) certificates to power concerts; and the planting of over 2,300 trees for offset purposes, Toffoli’s June 2025 San Siro Stadium concert represented another step toward a sustainable transition for the live music industry.

The artist engaged Music Innovation Hub to coordinate an ecosystem of public and private partners to develop a sustainability plan, creating a tangible experience of urban, environmental, and social innovation. Data was collected and analysed through audience surveys, allowing optimisation of local public transportation services and cycle…
