The sixth annual Pride edition of IQ, the international live music industry’s leading magazine, is now available, offering a comprehensive look at the executives and artists waving the flag for a more diverse and inclusive industry.

Supported by AEG Presents, IQ 145 serves as a Rolodex of queer talent, a handbook for allies, and a reflection of the industry. Leading the content is the annual LGBTIQ+ List, which spotlights 20 executives from all over the world who are making an impact in the international live entertainment business.

Pride issue editor Lisa Henderson also hears from LGBTIQ+ List 2022 finalist and Cuffe & Taylor co-founder Peter Taylor on how he helped build one of the UK’s leading promoters – and how he brought Britney Spears to Scarborough (aka Scarbados) at the height of her career.

Additionally, some of the world’s top talent agencies spotlight noteworthy LGBTQ+ artists ripe for festival bookings in the regular Loud & Proud feature.

Beyond Pride-specific content, Adam Woods tells the incredible story of Spanish promoter Pino Sagliocco, who rose from the streets of Italy to become an architect of the Spanish live business, while on the 60th anniversary of the world-renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, Gordon Masson looks back over its history and how it has adapted for the 21st century.

Plus, Lars Brandle provides our first-ever dedicated market report on New Zealand’s live music business; Derek Robertson goes behind the scenes of Zucchero’s impressive European tour; and James Hanley marks 20 years of The Great Escape festival.

There are also comments and columns from Silent House Studios president Alex Reardon, who highlights three ways that mid-level artists can cut costs without sacrificing quality, and Take That’s manager, Chris Dempsey, discusses the revival of The Circus Live.

Readers will also find the industry’s latest movers and shakers, new signings and new music, and key stories and analysis from across the global industry.

A selection of features will appear online in the coming weeks. To access the full range of reporting, analysis, and interviews, subscribe to IQ or explore the complete contents of the latest issue on the dedicated IQ page.
