Shakira unveils free concert in ‘beloved’ Mexico City

The Colombian superstar is expected to perform for over 200,000 fans at the public concert staged in the country's capital in March

Shakira will bring the Mexican leg of her record-breaking Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour to an end with a mammoth free show in Mexico City in March. The show will take place at Zócalo, the main square in the city.

The last time she played there was in 2007, drawing an estimated crowd of over 200,000 people. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs from Argentina hold the attendance record for the square, attracting 300,000 for their show there in June 2023.
