TEG pulls plug on country festival one month after announcing
The touring event was set to be the first from dedicated division Longhaul Touring as part of the firm's global country music ambitions

A month after announcing a multi-city country music festival and a division dedicated to the genre, Australasia’s Ticketek Entertainment Group (TEG) has pulled the plug on the festival, with the future of the company’s country ambitions up in the air.
Last month, TEG announced the launch of the one-day Longhaul Festival, led by Kane Brown and Kacey Musgraves, set to be staged at Melbourne Showgrounds (cap. 60,000), Sydney Showground (45,000), and Brisbane RNA Showgrounds (40,000) across 22-24 January 2027.
